Awards on a Monday

How wonderful to wake up on a to a small Easter basket of awards! I feel that running down the front stairs towards the shiny new red tricycle with the huge white bow feeling.

Thank you to Beth at http://www.maybe-tomorrow.net/ and Stacy at http://anovelsource.blogspot.com/ for giving me the Bodacious Book Blogger's Award! How thrilling! How kismet. How very very sweet of them. Thank you.

So:

If you are given this award you must first accept it by leaving a comment on the post you were nominated on. Then copy and paste the post and add it to your own blog. Make a list of the last 5 books you read and pass the award on to 5 other bloggers (no backsies!). Please also identify the blog from which you got the award and don't forget to tell your picks that they
have a blog award!

So, five books?

Matilda, Roald Dahl
Passion, Jude Morgan
The Forgotten Garden, Kate Morten
Gone With the Wind, Margaret Mitchell
The End of the Affair, Graham Greene

They were all heavenly,

So, five blogs?

doctordi at http://doctordi.wordpress.com/ because she is fun and sass and heart
bibliophiliac at http://bibliophiliac-bibliophiliac.blogspot.com/ keats's letters?
june at http://writingisablessing.blogspot.com/ for sweets and smarts
kate at http://kateslibrary.blogspot.com/ for lovely wineglass fine writing
leanna at http://daisychainbookreviews.blogspot.com/ for art deco lettering and finely wrought wrought words

Thank you again Beth and Stacy!

  1. Congratulations Priya on a new award, you deserve it! :-)

Hope you had a better Monday than I did: here it was gray, windy and raining, oh and cold! Felt like it was November!

I LOVE Mathilda, it is one of my comfort reads :-) I also have The End of the Affair on my TBR list, I loved the movie, is the novel just as good or even better? Haven't read anything yb Graham Greene yet.

    Have a great, sunny week!

    :-) Stella

  7. Congratulations on your award! I take it Kate Morten is the same author who wrote The House at Riverton? I read that recently and quite liked it, keep meaning to do a review one of these days. :)

  9. Hello Priya, thanks for the award. Of course I accept; i will post this weekend. Right now I am recovering from a virus--about to go back to school tomorrow to face my needy seniors. I was out for 2 days and they were texting me like crazy. I was like: stop texting in class!!!
