Back.  Done with flying, airports, passports, travel size, lost socks, long lines, immigration, contraband liquids, seat belt signs, x ray machines, static electricity, peanuts and things that go beep.

It is wonderful to know I am going to write, go to ballet, go to the library, go to dinner with friends, write, go to sleep and then wake up and do it again tomorrow.

Pages written this week: 0

Pages to write: 20

But on the upside, I did finally finish my albatross of an Author Portal Questionnaire for Simon and Schuster.  Surely I will get better at this...

  1. Welcome back! (Can I really welcome you "back" when I'm all the way over in NH??)

I'm more than halfway through "Exit the Actress" and loving it! :) I want to befriend Nell and meet her for coffee!

  2. Sounds like you have bee really busy. Enjoy your time at home.

  3. kate, i am so pleased you like her! that is wonderful to hear!

    vivienne, happy new year!

  4. julianna--you wrote to me on my email account here but the address you left does not seem to work. my publicist is jessica roth and her email is she is wonderful and i am sure will send you a review arc right away. happy new year!

  5. Priya -- I just received your book (via Rick on Goodreads) yesterday, and can hardly wait to read it. I so envy you being in London! I lived there for a couple of years, and miss it so much.

I'm taking the Queen Mary 2 over in May and staying about 10 days, and plan to do all the things you are doing now. I hope I can find a way to live there permanently someday.

Best of luck with your book -- I'll post reviews everywhere as soon as I finish it.
